Inventory failure on Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008 operating system

If you login to a system running Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008 operating system, you are logged in as a regular user even though you have Administrator rights.

NOTE: An in-built feature called User Account Control (UAC) automatically reduces the potential of security breaches for a system running Windows operating system.

NOTE: Before you run SUU or DUPs on the system, change the security options in Group Policy Editor.

To change the security options:

Click Start Run and then type gpedit.esc or gpmc.msc.
The Group Policy Editor window is displayed.
Browse to Security Options.
The Policy window is displayed
Navigate to User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for administrators in Admin Approval Mode.
Right-click and select Elevate without prompt.
